Mornings Warranty

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BODY COMFORT IMPRESSION

Please expect natural body impressions on your mattress. Premium-quality mattresses use extra-plush foams to create comfort layers designed to cradle the body and relieve pressure. After the first few weeks of use, you may notice body impressions forming on the surface of your new mattress.

These impressions are normal. Any impression of less than 3 cm in depth from the original mattress height is considered normal. They indicate that the comfort layers are conforming to your body, which is the intended function of the mattress, and should not be considered a defect or sagging.

NEW MATTRESS IMPRESSION – SMELL / ODOUR

It is common for a new mattress or pillow to emit a slight smell upon unboxing. This odour is entirely normal and will naturally dissipate. Please allow your mattress a minimum of two (2) months to breathe in a well-ventilated room to ensure the odour fades away.

MATTRESS CARE

To ensure the longevity of your Mornings Mattress, please follow these care guidelines:

  1. Support your mattress. Always use a suitable foundation. Mattress failure or “wear out” is often caused by inadequate or faulty foundations. Do not wait until your old foundation fails before purchasing a new mattress.

  2. Foundation requirements:

    • Twin or Full-sized mattress: minimum 4-legged bed frame.

    • Queen-sized mattress: minimum 5-legged bed frame with centre support.

    • King-sized mattress: minimum 6-legged bed frame with centre support.

  3. Ensure your room is well ventilated and dry.

  4. Protect your mattress. Use a high-quality absorbent mattress pad to keep the fabric fresh and clean. Liquids of any kind should never be applied to the mattress. In high humidity areas, we recommend using a dehumidifier. For cleaning, use a vacuum machine or a dry cloth to wipe away dirt or absorb moisture.

  5. Rotate your mattress regularly. Rotate once a month for the first three (3) months, then once every three (3) months thereafter. This helps the mattress wear evenly and reduces sagging from sleeping in the same spot.

  6. Keep your mattress clean.

  7. Change bed sheets weekly to prevent dirt accumulation and allergens.

  8. Never jump, stand, bend, or place your mattress directly on the floor. Such misuse may damage the mattress and void the warranty.

  9. Never drag your mattress. Doing so may damage the fabric, zipper (if any), or the mattress core.

WHAT CAN VOID YOUR WARRANTY?

Your warranty will be voided under the following circumstances:

  1. Mattress soiled by blood, urine, stains, or other damage. A high-quality, absorbent mattress protector is strongly recommended.

  2. Unhygienic conditions. Mattress with unusual odour, mould, mildew, or presence of pests (e.g., fleas, ticks, bedbugs, cockroach egg capsules) will void the warranty.

  3. Abuse. Jumping or applying undue force on the mattress or foundation.

  4. Bending or improper storage. Innerspring mattresses must not be bent or left standing on their side for extended periods. Improper handling during delivery, storage, or moving may cause permanent damage and void the warranty.

  5. Improper support. Use of incorrect, worn out, or unsuitable box foundations or bed frames. Proper support is essential for maintaining mattress durability.

  6. Foundations that are too soft, uneven, or restrict airflow can damage the mattress and void the warranty.

  7. Mattresses follow the contour of their foundation. If the base dips or sags (even slightly), the mattress will sag as well, causing wrinkling and roll-together effects. Some slat or mesh bases require a centre rail and floor-supporting leg, particularly for double, queen, and king sizes.

  8. Failure to comply with manufacturer’s care and maintenance instructions.

  9. Warranty applies only to the original purchaser from Mornings Mattress or its authorised dealers/retailers, for residential use only. Contract or commercial use is excluded.

  10. Repair or alteration of the mattress by unauthorised persons or workshops.

  11. Purchase of display or clearance items unless specifically stated in writing.

  12. Mattresses kept in unsanitary environments.

PRO-RATED LIMITED WARRANTY

This warranty applies exclusively to the first purchaser of the mattress from an authorised dealer.

  1. Your mattress will be replaced, repaired, or provided with a pro-rated allowance, at the manufacturer’s discretion, if found defective due to faulty workmanship within ten (10) years from the date of purchase. Equivalent materials and products of equal or similar value may be substituted where necessary.

  2. Each spring mattress carries a 10-year pro-rated warranty against manufacturing defects on the spring unit. Warranty on other components is limited to one (1) year, subject to the terms herein.

  3. After the 10th year, repair, replacement, or credit will follow a pro-rated schedule. The purchaser is responsible for the difference between the new mattress price and the credit value. The pro-rated value is calculated as 1/10th of the invoice price multiplied by the number of years of ownership.

    Pro-Rated Schedule:

    • Within 12 months: 100%

    • 1–2 years: 90%

    • 2–3 years: 80%

    • 3–4 years: 70%

    • 4–5 years: 60%

    • 5–6 years: 50%

    • 6–7 years: 40%

    • 7–8 years: 30%

    • 8–9 years: 20%

    • 9–10 years: 10%

    • Above 10 years: 0%

  4. The mattress will be repaired or replaced at the pro-rated value, with transportation charges payable by the purchaser. Repair or replacement is solely at the manufacturer’s discretion. Consequential claims of any kind will not be accepted. Warranty begins on the day of delivery and is not extended or renewed following repair or replacement.

  5. To make a claim, please contact the retailer from whom the mattress was purchased, providing proof of purchase (sales receipt or delivery receipt). The retailer will process the claim with Mornings Mattress.
